Simuflight Pilot Zone! PDF Print E-mail

What’s it all about..

Why

Simuflight is proud to present our “Pilot Zone” which is a free service to both crew and operators in a bid to assist operators with an ongoing database of type specific CV’s at their disposal at any timeas well as a means of exposing new crew and their new type ratings to operators alike.

We decided to do so due to the fact that paper CV’s get lost on a Chief Pilots Desk or gets forgotten or even sometimes unknowingly crews CV’s end up in file 13 or just simply vanish and the good old adage of “out of sight out of mind” applies….

Who

Any Commercial Pilot who has completed any of the following ratings, C-208, King Air 200 and Raytheon Beechcraft 1900.

How

Crew and Operators alike need to register on the “Pilot Zone” and keep CV’s and Jobs up to date. www.simuflight.co.za navigate to “Pilot Zone”

Terms and Conditions

Once a crew member has got his first “Type Specific” employment opportunity the following conditions need to be agreed to:

1.    The crew’s CV is to permanently come off the website after a job is acquired.
2.    The crew member MAY NOT UNDER ANY CURCUMSTANCES place a CV back online to jump from one 1900 operator to the next 1900 operator!
3.    The crew may only come back on line if they are changing from one type to the next provided there is no conflict with existing employer.
4.    Operators are to remove any listed jobs once they have found crew for those posts.

The reasons for the rules are clear and that is to ensure that there is no foul play and that operators are not at risk of falling into a “Pilot Salary Price War” by jumping from one operator to the next.
