On Friday 7 December our team delivered a brand new state-of-the-art R44 simulator to Ultimate Heli in Waterfall, Midrand.
NAC’s brand new ultimate heliport will be home to this newly-upgraded simulator, which features a 240º horizontal field of view graphic display, RNAV capability, advanced weather system displays, X-Plane 10 software installments and everything required for the highest standard of helicopter simulator training in the country.
It is Simuflight’s 3rd helicopter simulator delivery to date and the 38th simulator delivery in total. The SACAA has approved the quality test guides (QTG’s) for R44 and R22 operations, which makes this a unique and extremely capable simulator for multiple types of training.
